What is the backup plan if a photographer or filmer gets sick?We have a tight small team we work with consistently and would provide another equal caliber photographer or filmer out to fill in.

Do we get all of our photos?Yes, all photos are edited and ready for you to share and download, post on instagram and whatever else you want to do with them. The only photos we do not deliver is mid-blinking, blurry or unflattering photos that we know you won’t have any desire to have. Our average delivery is 50-100 photos per hour of photographing. So a 8 hour package you can expect 400-800 photos. We don’t cap out on how many we give you. We do not send you any RAW (un-edited) photos. We ask that you trust our process. The editing is the final special touch we put on them that completes the image.

Do we get an online gallery of the photos?All Packages come with the private online gallery with the high resolution images. All images will not have our logo on them or anything like that, they are all edited and ready for you to do whatever you want with them. You can also share the online gallery with friends and family to give them the same access you have.

What part of the day during a wedding is our personal most favorite to capture?Wow, so this is a hard question because there are so many great moments during a wedding. Pre ceremony, Ceremony, Portraits, Reception - The really cool thing about photographing a wedding is that its always moving and changing and we thrive in that element. The entire day is a rush of excitement and that is really fulfilling.

How do you handle image retouching and editing?We touch every single one of your images with editing. We do remove distraction things in photos and deliver you images that are ready to be printed and do not need any editing at all.

What rights do I have to the photos?Yes, We give you the full rights to download your images and do whatever you want to do with them. Print them anywhere you like share them with friends and family these photos are yours and no extra costs. There are not water marks and you have the highest resolution JPGs which is all you need.

Are you insured?Yes we are insured all of the time. Sending over a certificate is very common for us and we are happy to provide that for your venue. We can have one sent over within about 24 hours or less.

How do you handle the worst case scenario of losing your files?Photos and video are recorded to 2 cards whenever using the cameras in case 1 card ever went bad or corrupted. After a wedding or any shoot we download the files that same night to 2 drives plus we have a cloud back up. keeping the files in multiple locations is our approach to making sure your memories are safe up to when we deliver the files to our clients.

What equipment do you use?Equipment varies and is added to often. All equipment is professional grade from the camera bodies to the lenses.

Can I request specific shots or poses?Yes, we suggest that you let us know of any must have photos. If there is anything that we would never know like a special necklace you wanted photographed or a set up photo of a 1st look with a family member we are very happy to take that information and assist to make sure we photograph those things or moments.

What happens in case of bad weather for an outdoor shoot?We have seen it all from rain, fog, extreme heat, humidity and even have done a wedding in a hurricane! We are ready for it all. We embrace the elements no matter what is going to happen. We are prepared with our equipment to handle any situation on any shoot.

Do you provide prints or albums?Yes, we offer printing right through your gallery. We also offer custom books with images that you choose. We send the book over for you to proof before we print and then it is sent directly to your door. When it comes to videos, we are offering video books.

How long does it take to receive edited photos?Turn around time for photos is 2 months, videos take 4 months. We pour our heart and soul into our edits and want them to be perfect for you. We will never forget about you and will check in as we are about to wrap up your photos or video to let you know they are ready. Sneak peeks are often sent over within 4 days or less following your wedding day.

Can I see samples of your work?yes, we post lots of our work on instagram and also on our blog is where we have lots of full weddings and other great resources. We definitely want our clients to love our work we do so we encourage you to check out our stuff!

How far in advance should I book your services?We suggest that after you secure your venue, you are ready to book us. If you are happy with how we connect, happy with the work we show then we would suggest booking and we ask for a 30% downpayment to lock your date with us. Dates might be open one day and gone the next, there is no real way to gauge it. Short answer is book it as soon as you can.

Do you offer destination photography services?Yes we are currently doing destination weddings in all of the Hawaiian Islands. We are often traveling to Hawaii and are always excited to take on weddings and or elopements in Hawaii. We are open to other locations as well.

What is included in your photography packages?We offer photography and film but also offer 2nd photographers, books, engagement sessions, trash the dress sessions, rehearsal party photography. We do have some popular packages we offer and we also customise packages for a client depending on their needs. In addition we also offer 35mm film photography, 120mm film photography ( medium format) and SUPER movie film!

What is your photography style?Our approach through out the day may vary. During a wedding we are looking and scanning for moments to happen and that is candid and documentary. We want to capture what is real, what is impactful. If a moment is happening we let the natural course of the moment to happen and we be sure to not interject. During a portrait session with family we will position people and guide our subjects through some prompts so we can engage everyone and we accomplish great portrait images like that. During a couples portrait session it is a bit of both candid and suggestions and some demonstration if needed. But it is optimal for us to bring out your true energy as a couple and capture those interactions. We don't do any hard posing with couples unless they want us to. We are a mix of matching your vibe, using angles and lighting to make timeless images of our couples.

How do I book a photography session with you?You can fill out our form on our contact page and we will be in touch with you. We are open to taking calls, texts, emails as well.

What is the process for booking with you?We will send you a proposal from our CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) with a service called Honeybook. The proposal will outline with all that you can expect from us as photographers. There is a small form to give a bit of information about your wedding day with locations and dates and times. If you don’t have all information, it’s okay, the form just gives us a rough idea of how the day will go. We will be touch before the big day so we will get a final timeline and be sure that we are all on the same page. You will be able to sign the proposal and make the down payment of 30% to lock down that date all within Honeybook. The final payment is due any time up until the day of if you like. We can also set up payment plans so it is spread out within the time between booking and the day of.
