As a wedding photographer and filmmaker, I’ve had the privilege of capturing love stories at many venues, but Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona holds a special place in my heart. This historic stone castle, surrounded by oak trees and rolling hills, creates the perfect whimsical setting for a wedding straight out of a storybook.
From the moment you step onto the property, you can feel the magic. The ceremony site, nestled under towering trees, creates an intimate, enchanting space where vows feel even more special. As the sun starts to set, the golden light filtering through the trees transforms the nearby open fields into a dreamy, romantic backdrop—one of my absolute favorite spots for couple’s portraits.
